Fair enough!Gaffney
pfffttt.. Virat can pay these guys off. Dont need the big guns.@Thala_0710 was it Ambani or Adani who payed Gaffney today?
Pushing for specialists ahead of allrounders? Has your account been hacked, hb?Yeah two things annoy me here about the Shardul selection. He is our only genuine swing bowler in this line up, so ideally you would bowl him as early as possible, I would even give him the new ball and see if he can get it to whoop around. Siraj seems to waste new balls these days in tests, and Prasidh is always a first/second change bowler, across formats.
Second, if you really dont rate his bowling so much, why not pick NKR who is the far better batsman, or Kuldeep, who is a far better bowler?
I remember I posited an option B line up for this test.Pushing for specialists ahead of allrounders? Has your account been hacked, hb?
Having said that, these are good points. I'm surprised NKR doesn't retain his place after his performances in Australia. He was one of your better bats there for sure even if he's a bit ineffective with the ball. Also, Kuldeep is a no brainer I think.
4 good pace options and 2 spinners with equally good batting despite the tail. You guys missed a trick not doing this.I remember I posited an option B line up for this test.
