Jadeja is really ineffective outside of India. You could pick him in the top seven for his batting but not expect him to take many wickets as long as you had four strong bowling options. Bumrah, two seamers and Kuldeep for example. But those two seamers can't be passengers and one has to be able to bat. Some of India's problems are due to non-batting bowlers, so they fudge it, counterproductively.
