Both. He's transcended eras; started playing when FC cricket was still the proving ground and batsmen had something resembling a defensive technique. All that's gone to pot in many places and he's still around to pick up the scraps. Great man, really.

Rules are there for a reason! He holds dual citizenship... So obviously they need more time to process his application. CA should have made the application sooner knowing the visa history.

And this author Guha is a joke and not many take him seriously.

His book India after Gandhi is a top-tier, world-class, history book that should be (and often is) required reading in universities worldwide when discussing modern Indian history. And his book A Corner of a Foreign Field is one of the best cricket books I've read. You can disagree with his politics, and that's up to you, but I hate takes like this. It's dismissing intelligent people with well-thought-out intelligent opinions via ad hominem attacks. You may disagree with his opinions, and that's acceptable, but he has clearly shown by his past accomplishments that you should not dismiss him as a person.

He may be intelligent but he uses it to bring down the nation. These so called intellectuals are better off talking about America, rather than India, given their negativity. These guys are far too idealistic and so removed from reality.

These rules for Visa were made by Guha’s own favourite Congress government after 26/11 attack on Mumbai . But look at this fraud Guha . He didn’t utter a word when his favourite Congress government framed that rule but has opened his mouth now because he wants to convey the message that these rules were made by current Government.

Every Pakistani citizen needs security clearance from New Delhi for visa irrespective of the position he holds . And this takes additional time . So if you want visa in time , you need to apply in advance.

Aren’t you the same person who blamed India for Delta Virus ? And now you are also crying why India has strict visa procedures for Pakistani origin citizen.
