you really are a dumb pom hey! arrogance is better on the aussies than you pomer! congrats England batted better than us in 2nd and 3rd tests.

Been wondering who was going to be the first one dumb enough to bite on @chris.hinton "enthusiasm". He's been going all summer so congrats.

Whatever it takes!!!
Well played England and hard luck RSA. They definitely had the worst of the conditions this test even though both teams' batting sucks.

The primary issue being you got dicked 4-0 in the Ashes just six months ago with essentially the same side.
Doesn’t count because we weren’t playing Bazball then, sorry that doesn’t fit your AGENDA though

I look forward to Bazball being played next English summer.
New Zealand and India are miles better sides than Australia (FACT) and we obliterated them with ease so you will be dispatched without a second thought, yes true

I remember all this at the end of 2004 when we’d won seven tests, oh just wait until next summer. And wait we did.

The simple fact is last time Australia won a series in England, nobody tweeted about it posted celebratory thoughts on Facebook or even bebo because they didn’t exist. Nobody took pictures of the victorious moments on their camera phone or got an Uber to the train station afterwards.

No it was a very different time. Australia just don’t win in England anymore, even when we were only okay. Now led by the world’s greatest all-rounder (FACT), with runs flowing from the world’s greatest batsman (OBJECTIVELY TRUE) and spearheaded by the two most prolific fast bowlers of all time your nation of sandpaper-clutching neanderthals will not come close.

Yes true

Well played England! Just finished the highlights of the last day and a bit.

Has that 2nd innings given Lee & Crawley another life? Can they afford to keep persevering with both of them?

That was the series when Australia retained the Ashes in England, iirc. And that with each of Marcus Harris, Cameron Bancroft and Tim Paine somehow playing a role. Sad.

Look at Corrin's efforts here. Pathetic. "Australia just don't win in England anymore" says bloke whose side drew the last Ashes at home 2-2 and which hasn't won a test, let alone a series in Australia for over a decade. Reaching SL levels of embarrassing touring there.

You had a sneak preview at Headingley in 2019.......i believe Nathan Lyon is still in therapy for it.
I'll have you know that behind every Nathan Lyon off break IS A FARMER WITH DIRTY HANDS WHO WORKED HARD TO MAKE THE SIX OVER LONG OFF POSSIBLE, YOU UNGRATEFUL BASTARD!

You only retained the Ashes here because you’d ‘won’ the one before and yet there was an asterisk the size of Tasmania against that one given the flagrant ball-tampering that was endemic in the Oz side at the time. So by rights a draw should roll it back to 2015, which England won at a canter.

That’s before we mention that England were robbed of victory by the rain in the drawn match in the 2019 series, and we basically played the whole thing without the world’s greatest fast bowler, which isn’t really fair when you think about it.

Individual match wins are for losers, series wins are what matters. And Australia don’t win them in England. This is the uncomfortable truth no matter how hard you try and shake it off.

Imagine a bloke lauding the efforts of the England 2005 side complaining about ball tampering by anyone else. Tres hilaire.
