Draft - your selection must have a batting average close to the previous player's selection

International Regular
Alastair Cook (45.35)
Arthur Morris (46.48)
Rahul Dravid (52.31)
Kumar Sangakkara (57.40)
Dennis Compton (50.06)
Les Ames (40.56)
Wilfred Rhodes (30.19 bat / 26.96 bowl)
Jack Gregory (36.96 bat / 31.15 bowl)
Vernon Philander (24.04 bat / 22.32 bowl)
Derek Underwood (11.56 bat / 25.83 bowl)
Courtney Walsh (7.54 bat / 24.44 bowl)

Pretty happy with the batting line-up there. Could probably have done with another seamer somewhere in the lineup rather than two SLA bowlers, but they'll make it work I'm sure.

Whatever it takes!!!
Quite love the side I got finally. :) 6 ATGs supported by Mudassar, Katich, Dhoni, Starc and Wagner. Good enough to beat anyone anywhere anytime on any pitch. Every batsman can bowl and even my last 3 average 37 collectively.

My final XI:

Jack Hobbs
Victor Trumper
Trevor Goddard
Frank Worrell*
Martin Crowe
Doug Walters
Tony Greig
Denis Lindsay+
Alan Davidson
Johnny Wardle
Glenn McGrath

Bats ridiculously deep (for reasons beyond my control...), but there's certainly variety in the bowling (McGrath RFM, Davidson LFM, Wardle SL both styles, Greig RM/OB, Goddard LM, Worrell SLA/LM, Walters RM).

Fuller Pilch

My final player was an ATG English county player with more than 100 FC centuries. To say he underachieved at test level is a massive understatement.

Virender Sehwag
Bert Sutcliffe
Everton Weekes
Sachin Tendulkar
Mark Ramprakash
Shakib Al Hasan
Imran Khan (*)
Wasim Akram
Godfrey Evans (+)
Jason Gillespie

Everyone in the side scored at least one test 100.

Kind of great how much of this draft has been spent in the 20s and 30s. Feels like we were on briefly amongst the bowlers.
