Or is it advantage NZ - just like a home Test matchCA has confirmed no crowds for these matches
Advantage australia then - just like a Shield match
Jokes on you our home Test matches are full to the brim of Indian and English supporters.Or is it advantage NZ - just like a home Test match
Probably had nothing to do with coronavirus.CA has confirmed no crowds for these matches
The thing that confuses me is that crowds are being locked out of sporting events...which is totally understandable. But am I wrong in saying places like shopping malls, where the potential for cross contamination seems higher to me, are still open for business? This situation just gets crappier and crappier. I mean, the time we need the escape of entertainment the most is also when we can't have it. I mean, I understand why it is the sensible thing to do, it just sucks that it is the sensible thing to do.![]()
People need to eat/ buy clothes etc... and you don't want to tank the whole economy given this is a 4-6 month problem at best. The thing that confuses me is that crowds are being locked out of sporting events...which is totally understandable. BREAKING. Kane Richardson has been tested for Covid 19 and not come to ground with team after waking with a sore throat ahead of ODI v NZ. Concern levels low. Shaun Abbott comes in as cover.
oh ok
Club cricket finals go til late March but it’s well into autumn by then. Normally the international season is done by Feb. we’re sort of the other way - October kick off for Shield & early Nov for tests, whereas I understand you guys tend to have a later start? It's all academic now with the coronavirus stuff, but....do people/Aussies not consider March a normal part of the cricket season?
For me I've always considered the cricket season to end around late March (the NZ home international season sometimes stretches into early April which is admittedly odd) so purely in terms of the time of year, it doesn't strike me as odd to be playing international cricket now.
Hell, if it had been a dud NZ summer (say Bangladesh/Sri Lanka instead of England/India/Aus) a series of ODIs against Australia in mid-March would be the highlight of the season.
Online shopping is so ****ing good. We do it all the time, and for the past two Xmases haven’t had to set foot in a store to buy a present. It’s a gift from DogPeople need to eat/ buy clothes etc... and you don't want to tank the whole economy given this is a 4-6 month problem at best.
But I imagine online shopping is going to be even more popular.
Don't ask me. There are movies with thousands of people being shot even today. Its such a hard thing to get a handle over. I am really amazed China have been able to bring it back under control. The thing that confuses me is that crowds are being locked out of sporting events...which is totally understandable.
