Really curious about this. We used to only ever use hotspot and never snicko until the 2013 Ashes. Can't remember the last time I saw hotspot used.

realtime snicko wasn't a thing before 2013. before then it apparently took too long to manually line up the picture and audio.

Well Buttler can go as he clearly isn't up to test cricket. He had a great 2018 and scrambled a test average for the year of 44 but in 16 tests since his recall as a batsman only he has got 1 century. Not good enough and since the world cup he looks like he can't be bothered.

And if you're counting Smith, even Gooch counts, and he > Root. A top six of Atherton, Gooch, Stewart, Thorpe, Smith and Hussain would honestly be one of the best batting lineups going around if they were playing today. Don't think that would've played much though.

But even recognising that they wouldn't have played together very often, we'd have still seen four or five in the top 6 from the guys we've listed. Obviously way superior to this bunch of clowns.

Look both sides have quality attacks but you want a contest from the batsmen. This just looks like bullying with test class bowlers up against grade level batsmen. Absolute crap batting from both sides.
