You can drop as many players as you want, and they will go into the pool of unselected players that all of us who want to make changes will draft from. So yes you can redraft one of your former players, but so can everyone else.Teuton, can you tell about this mini draft, at the end of every quarter, in detail. Like how many players can be dropped? and what happens to the players who are dropped? Do we have the option to drop a player after first quarter and have him back for the third quarter? etc.
Also regarding the scoring, am assuming that the least scoring batsman (opener or middle order bat), least scoring bowler (fast bowler or spinner) and least scoring all rounder points WONT be counted at the end of every quarter?
A year is a long time in sport and I have done plenty of fantasy sports games and they aren't so enjoyable if half your team is injured or retires. It also allows for some different tactics to be used across the teams. The pool of players will get pretty shallow when we get to the last few rounds so this gives some value to those fringe players. Lastly it also allows us to get on board early with new players rather than having to wait until next year.Get rid of the mini drafts and quarterly changes imo. Draft teams now and let it roll for the whole year.
