Good to see so many Northern Territorians in the Redbacks squad,Richardson,Andrews and now Weatherald.
Maybe a time for a Northern Territory side?

Yeh it was on Cricinfo some while back.Mckay had a dazzling year for leciestershire and in the Big Bash.If the Redbacks don't pick him up don't see him getting a contract with the Vics or anyone else.
Interested in player movements this year,expect a lot.

McKay is good back-up. He might still get a contract if Stevenson goes to Tasmania.

Cameron Stevenson played Futures for Tasmania in the last game,so I gather he there for next year,contract or no contract.How old is Stevenson?He could easily pick up a contract as a rookie in Tasmania.
Tim Van Der Guten who got cut last year,stayed in Tassie last year,but he's now signed with Glamorgan. Probably won't worry about playing here now,probably will try and qualify for England.

The batting which collasped in the last three games of the season came good in the end, even Cameron White did well.

A good team performance through the season.

Good to see Mennie get his 50 wickets for the season.

Just checked the scorecard

Head went for 43 off two overs with Stonis hitting 4 consecutive 6's and and a 2 off one over! after Handscomb took a single then next over 4 fours including 3 in a row
and in the middle over Handscomb took 12 off Worrall

55 in 3 overs

124 to 179 !

I don't think Oz will start winning again in England until Aussie players start playing FC seasons over there again. The warm-up issue is a furphy when your team gets worse against the moving ball the further the series progresses. England were not a great side last time.

I'm sure in Adelaide there are columns already being written about the youth of the SA players but it's a bit of a cop-out when, for both sides, it was largely the inexperienced guys that did the job. Vic just too profesh.
