How as the luck gone against him Botham? He got a decent ball which he missed. Good inswinger there, really **** to lose a wicket to Watson in these circumstances. If Carberry keeps looking comfortable until 30 and getting out, at his age, then he is of limited use tbh.

10-0 man thought he swatted that onto the boot and got caught behind, hence the bad luck comment. 10-0 man was wrong again.

Another very tough day of watching this Ashes series!!We really looked a very beaten side today and was very disheartening to see. There just looked a complete lack of fight, a lack of any real plans with the batting, really sloppy in the field exemplified by Matt Prior's very poor day behind the stumps (and with the bat), and bowling wise it's been difficult every third innings of the series so far due to our batsmen's inexplicable failures and the lack of pressure on Australia enabling the likes of Warner to tee off.

Personally I don't know why we don't climb into Warner. Not one player had a few words with him when he jumped towards Prior in celebration of his hundred, I'm afraid rightly or wrongly I'd have blown my top at him for that, but we look like we've had any fight we did have well and truly removed. As ever he rode his luck today but he sends out a great message with his intent, he won't always be able to take advantage of the luck he's having but he's cashing in right now, fair play. Horrible bloke though, and he's copping nothing.

When the situation of the game looks like you're down and out, it's important that you at least send out the right message in the field, but today it was all too sloppy.

We have to bat soooo well in this second innings and as we've been saying all along, the big players must stand up and save this series. Not too hopeful though judging by what's gone before.
He jumped in the air, when did he jump towards Prior!?

Commentators say that the ashes are in the bag, so why do I still feel nervous ???... nerves won't be gone till they are 9 down with hundreds still to get and not a rain cloud in the sky.
