Edwards, Powell, Bravo, Samuels is the better top order imo. Taylor is the only bloke who would definitely make that four from NZ.

Rutherford ffs.

About the millionth time he's thrown it away before lunch. Very NZ to open the door to the opposition just when they get on top.

BTW Maximas, I feel as though Edwards, Powell, Bravo, Samuels is at least on par with Rutherford, Fulton, Redmond, Taylor.
Possibly, but you have to factor in the NZ bowlers being much better and probably able to trouble their batsmen a lot easier.

Fact is that the WI don't have good fast bowlers and top order batsmen in these conditions, the pitch and conditions probably justified bowling first so that's what they did

Interesting to note this is the first time Redmond's played a test (or any international, actually) in NZ.

That is not the fact. That is your opinion.

Really annoyed with Sammy's captaincy today. Surely, that was another moment where you should be bowling your strike bowler to the new batsman, not Sammy.

He faced an over of gentle medium pace, hard not to look slightly confident.
Well, given that the majority of bowling that he will face today is likely to be either gentle medium pace or gun barrell fast-medium pies, there's not a lot there to shake that confidence.
