Yes, he could have been a bit higher, found it difficult to choose between Laxman, Viswanath and Sehwag...some other day I might put Vishy ahead of Laxman and Sehwag...Vishy far too low at 9
yes, of course...Umrigar amd Gagnguly are probably the closest ones to have missed out...Umrigar worth a mention?
what made you believe that I considered it seriously?Surprised to have to clarify that I wasn't being serious, was actually pretty happy with your list ftr
I thought this may have been one of those "I'll pretend I didn't get it" ones but I figured you wouldn't bother responding if you knew I wasn't seriouswhat made you believe that I considered it seriously?
I did too, it's a close call between Azhar, Vengsarkar and Sourav...I probably would have included Sourav on some other day...What of Sourav Ganguly? I certainly enjoyed watching him in action
He was certainly ****e when he played for Lancashire, and by all accounts a total **** as wellGanguly not that good in test arena.
Good call.1) Vijay Bhardwaj
2) MSK Prasad
3) Eknath Solkar
4) Ajay Ratra
5) Devang Gandhi
6) Dinesh Mongia
7) Maharaja of Porbandar ( trust me, the best Cricinfo writeup ever)
8) Hemang Badani
9) Sadagoppan Ramesh
10) Deep Dasgupta
Would pay to watch
Yeah probably not... But I dunno couldn't think of other worse batsmen tbh. A similar 10 for Indian bowlers would be an enormously difficult task. Absolute treasure trove of demon bowlersGood call.
But two players don't belong on this list: Solkar and Ramesh. Solkar was the only guy in his squad who knew how to catch and field. Ramesh had a pretty decent run for your standard subcontinental ftb opener.
I would recommend Parthiv Patel to this team, but I guess his full career has yet to be fully written.
