Vaas played only two series after that, and one against Banglo boys, yet he averaged 40+ with the ball after that series. Murali did take wickets, but it was evident for any one that he was on the wane. Yes both Vaas and Murali played that series, but they were a shadow of bowlers of mid 2000s.
