Difference is that in those years they were giving the stars a rest to keep them fresh,unlikely that when you get to the World Cup it will all click into place this time as the players you take are not in the same class.Having said that it is probably the most open World Cup in ages so you get on a roll and anything can happen.

The difference now is that they're not swapping around players the quality of Hayden, Gilchrist, McGrath, Warne etc etc.

I'm also pretty sure they'd have a game plan, they're just not carrying it off.

Horrible irony seeing Paul Reiffel umpiring at the MCG the other night and watching McKay perform tonight

Both play/ed similar roles for their respective sides but the gulf in class between the 2 is massive

Nothing's working for us today at all is it? First the pitch quickens up, outfield goes dead, then then the powerplay gets shortened because of the umps!
