Haha I think I actually suggested that at the start of the tour, but it's not like Kamran's scoring many runs either; I don't think he justifies his place as a batsman at the moment. I suppose he's still better than Faisal and they retardedly decided to send their fourth best batsman home.

Could there be a more one dimensional spinner in world cricket? I mean sure he can be effective in the shorter versions of the game, but seriously there is a more boring and overrated spinner than Hauritz.

We're in between a rock and a hard place with regards to spinners...and selections...and injuries.

I like Hauritz as a bowler, he offers a nice option for Ponting. But he is never going to be one of those cricketers that takes 5/20 on the final day of play. His style relies on tempting the batsmen into playing the false stroke, when you have runs to play with that is fine, but he will generally concede 80-100 runs in the process of taking 3-4 wickets.

No-one's on tour UIMM; they'd have to fly someone over. From what I can tell Faisal Iqbal is emergency wicket keeper but they don't have a genuine backup.

I don't think you understand mate....this is Pakistan.....your skills are secondary, your weight of recommendations and contacts is what counts.....he might drop 6 in next game....but he ain't going out.......the day Sarfraz has a bigger recommendation or a bigger "endorsement" with a nice "cheque" to give to PCB he will be in.............

kind of harash on him i think.. didn't he take a 5er last test match and won the match single handedly for Aus..

no mater who the bowler is whether shane warne, Murali or McGrath.. you need a decent total to give you confident in defending it..Aus doesn't have that much runs on the board to give him that confident..

So wrong.. i recall you praising him when he was making all those runs against NZ..just one match..he is the one with "endorsement"..

I agree he should be played as batsman but not not be dropped..
