Probably the only batsman I would put money on to break this record would be Jayasuriya (in current world view, of course). Absolute legend...

Seems strange that in the current ODI era, Anwar's record is still standing for well over a decade.I mean almost every other record has tumbled: we've seen a team score 400 and then seen a team chase down over 400, we've seen 36 runs in an over twice in recent times and we have more minnows than ever in world cups yet Anwar's record remains to be broken.
