Nah, look at this post (and the subsequent explanation) for a comparison.

Migara doesn't tend to be big on smiley-use anyway TBH.

To be fair, Lee does have a kink in his elbow. It doesn't mean he chucks, but there is a kink and you can't exactly deny it. His action is nice to watch, but I wouldn't call it the most pure one ever as some suggest. I think his awesome run-up (its like he gallops) is what makes his bowling action look nice.

Agree totally - his run up is a sight to behold, but his action per se isn't in the Hadlee/ Holding/ Lillee class for smoothness.

why people think Lee's action is illegal is totally beyond me.

You can you reasonably argue that if Murali's action is legal, Lee's is not?

No offense to Murali, but if his action is legal, Lee could stand there and throw the ball like a baseball pitcher and still be called legal.

Could just be because hes Australian people seem to need to convince themselves of a stupid reason that he and 10 other players beat them all the time, i duno.

or could be that Lee did get reported for suspect action and had his action changed a little.. did some work with Lille to get his action right.
But hey don't let those facts get in the way of course its because everyone's jealous.
I don't see how Murali relates to this anyway.. could it have anything to do with World record, Warne ?

youre the victorian not me.

It has everything to do with Murali. Dont lie, his elbow bends in his action, its obvious.

People only say Lee chucks when they go through it frame by frame..if you do tha with mcgrath it will show the same thing.

He did get reported for chucking, they tested it and it was fine.

And also I dont recall him changing his action, he changed it with the help of Lillee when he was like 18 because he broke down.

Lillee didnt help change it when he got called for throwing, at least i never heard about it.

yea it basically is.

The only difference is very subtle, notice in the 2nd video his bowling arm movement is more exaggurated before he loads up at his hip, whereas in the first one its less exaggurated and I reckon it looks better, duno why he changed it.

They're identical because it's the same video posted twice.

and also the only change in his action in the past 5+ years has been a slight change in his load up, but it actually looks more complicated than it did before.

Heres 2 videos to compare -

The first video is him earlier in his career, the 2nd is more recent, the only change I can see is he actually made it more complicated, nothing to do with chucking.

i read somewhere before that Lille help re-model his action but apparently it was early on not when he got reported for chucking. Althou one of the papers did say something along those lines.

can't remmember how to do the linkthing
