Was an extremely clumsy challenge but there was minimal contact. If I were a football ref, I'd go over and kick anyone who went down like that. That's what the big ****ing girls need.

Austria played a bit of football at the end of that half.

15 fouls given altogether, about 2 of which were real ones. Makes me wonder whether they should give up the pretence of football altogether and just have free kick taking contests.

imagine how much hard work we would have made of this match. makes me feel a bit relieved we are not there to dissapoint yett again and allows me to just enjoy the football(which is rather dire at the moment)

I was impressed with Austria's second half, to begin with they looked a bit over-awed by proceedings. They need some bite up front, too. Croatia were poor, look lost going forward without Eduardo. Modric looked good, but I was glad to see Kranjcar having a fairly anonymous game. Don't want him being poached over summer.

Hoping Poland repeat this.

"Back to Jansen! Jens! Jens! Jens, Zey are going to score! Nice goal. Vell done Poland."
