This (sachin's amazing escape from a plumber as plumb can be lbw appeal) is why he is against UDRS. It's a disgrace that BCCI , those who make money from BCCI and fans who can't see anything beyond supporting the "national line" continue to defend the indefensible

I hate to kick the great man when he is down but FMD, Tendulkar's crossed the line between looking rusty/uncomfortable and looking decidedly dodgy at the crease today.

Fmd that's middle half way up
Marginal decision- tendulkar was far forward. Aussies are so used to getting umpires ruling in their favour, that when a marginal decision goes against them they behave like their victims of a human rights violation

No nationalistic warmongering in this thread please.

Matthew Wade appealing for a caught behind when the ball clearly bounced on the ground in front of him- what a classy sportsman.

Nah, was plumb, not marginal. Pitched middle and straightened.

don't understand why so many posters are pessimistic about Australia's chances in the Ashes. England's win against the worst Indian side in decades notwithstanding, they haven't exactly covered themselves in glory. New Zealand are dominating them and I'd wager being dominated by India in India is better than being dominated by New Zealand in New Zealand. England will be slight favourites but that is it. Get Cook and 50 percent of the battle is won.
