how did mushy fare in 1995?
And smalishah's avatar is the most classy one by far Jan certainly echoes the sentiments of CW
Yeah we don't crap in the first world; most of us would actually have no idea what that was emanating from Ajmal's backside. Why isn't it roses and rainbows like what happens here? PEWS's retort to Ganeshran on Daemon's picture depicting Ajmal's excreta
yeah...I think it is Mushy who did well 18 wickets in 2 matches at an average of 21
Was at every day of this match. Ovation for S Waugh was something special.
A few things:
1. How underrated is Kumble? What a wonderful bowler. Much better than he gets credit for.
2. Any chance of the Katich hundred on video Rob? Best innings of his Test career. Can't believe he was dropped for Symonds the next match!
3. How good was Damien Martyn to watch?!
4. Brett Lee - worst player of spin bowling ever? Discuss.

Upul Chandana bowled well in 2004 on some responsive Cairns and Darwin wickets.
The match in Cairns rarely gets a mention. Drab game until Warne almost created a classic victory.
katich getting dropped after the scg game is up there in terms of worst droppings ever
Not really. Swann (from memory) really only performed at Adl. Of course, he only needed to perform at Adl, so he did what he had to do. And I guess performing when needed to is something that overseas spinners have often lacked
Indians can't bowl - Where has the rumour come from as I myself and many indian friends arwe competent fast bowlers ?
With the English bid I said: Let us be brief. If you give back the Falkland Islands, which belong to us, you will get my vote. They then became sad and left
Well yeah, that's kind of the point, he had a pretty ordinary series but at least he did something.

Vettori with the only solid series by a finger spinner, back in 01/02.
Plenty of wreckages though, Murali's figures of 4 wickets at 100 in 07/08 rather conspicuous. Richard Dawson's effort in 02/03 - 5 wickets from 4 matches at nearly 80 while conceding over 4 an over - is also, ahem, illustrative

Bishen Bedi did allright here in particular in 77/78
Keep Your Feet on The Ground,Keep Reaching for The Stars!
Did you see Prasanna in Australia JB? He seems to have had a good game at the Gabba back in 67/68, although not a lot of fun when he returned a decade later!
That Indian team captained by Pataudi(jr) was stacked with talent.Prassanna nearly won that match with his 6 for in the second innings.Fairly ineffective in first innings although he took a couple. I did not see him again until '77 at the twilight of his career and thought him ordinary then.
FOOTNOTE
Rusi Surti as a result of that '68 tour ended up playing for QLD in the Shield. Now he was an underrated cricketer
Kumble in 03/04 the only truly great series performance really... what a hero he was in that series... bowled marathon spells against arguably the best batting lineup ever on the flattest pitches imaginable. Champ.
