**Official** India in Sri Lanka 2012

I agree this is probably not enough, despite the late burst. However, afaik, India have only once successfully chased 250+ in SL. But that was three days ago.

Also strange from Dhoni that Raina, who I thought would've been one of the better part-time options, wasn't even used.
Dhoni used Raina as main part time bowlers in many matches, yeah strangely he opted to go for Kohli, Sehwag, Tiwary this time around though it worked for him until last over; but India will fancy this score

Heh, 4/36 off 8 becomes 4/61 off 10 - guess thats the risk of continuing to bowl a part-timer at the death...

Interesting now if Sri Lanka use a similar tactic with Dilshan and Jeevan Mendis to bowl a good chunk of the overs.
Yea wrist spin at the death is particularly dangerous. Wrist spinners tend to go for sixes more than other bowlers, certainly works out that way in the IPL for instance - even though they're bowling the middle overs. Having said that India's death bowling is garbage anyway. But yes definitely a gamble - for the last few overs perhaps you'd want to be a bit safer as a random tailend wicket you pick up is less important than the risk of getting smacked for 6s by said tailenders.

Well so much for that stat. Think that'll be it for Rohit for a while (or should be, anyway)

In such small run chase, SL can't afford releasing pressure with these byes, no balls; Pradeep needs to land the ball in right areas rather than striving for pace in this situation

Kohli breaks amla's record of scoring maximum runs in 10 ODI innings. Amla scored 768 in 10 innings whereas Kohli has scored 800(still playing) in 10 ODI innings.

What a shot by Kohli for 6
