Crazy review, Marsh should have known he was a dead duck there, and if there was no edge then clarke should have confirmed it was a straight forward decision. Waste.

What a change from Smith, and what a result delivered from Steyn. SA needed that to peg the Aussies back, top class Steyn, a top ball moving back into the left-hander first up. No looseners from the No.1 Test bowler.
Doesn't take a huge amount of tactical nous to change a bowler who's being clouted for the best bowler in the world, to be fair.

No it doesn't, more to do with the timing of it, for the sake of one over could have just left it till after tea. I know it could have been easy to just keep throwing him the ball in that afternoon session, but with little cricket behind him, and a long evening session to come, Smith's clearly trying to keep him fresh and bowling impact overs/spells like that.
