Cricket Families Draft

I've just had another idea for a draft. This draft is to create a squad of 15 for test cricket. The 1st 7rounds will be taken up by picking two players ho are related to eachother either through blood or marriage (Note: Only 1 player of each pair need to have played tests) and then in the 8th round you can pick anyone who has not had any relatives play 1st class cricket to complete your squad.

Please sign up if interested (I think this idea will only work with a maximum of 8):

1. Michaelf7777777
2. Noble One
3. Stumpski
4. Metallics2006
5. Archie mac
6.
7.
8.

Still not really sure how this is going to work, but count me in anyway - I'm sure it will become clear soon enough.

Like Mr Fertang there I'm a virgin at these in CC, although have enjoyed the rugby union/rugby league drafts in the Sports Forum, so would like a go, please.

Unless I've misunderstood the rules Bradman can be picked in round 8? Distinct advantage going first that round then...

You're right about Bradman but the person going 1st might still need a keeper or something.

Yes I agree. Finding a decent keeper will be the biggest challenge to this draft.

Do people think we should have a 12 hour or a 24 hour gap before your pick is skipped?

Are we voting on overall squad or the best XI? Will impact on selections...

I'll pick BB's man K.S. Ranjitsinhji and his nephew Duleep or Kumar Shri Duleepsinhji.
