Should never hope for rain. Ultimate sign of lack of faith in your team.

Nah, it's not that we don't have faith in our team......it's that it will be too funny if Aus go out without losing a game after 3 washouts.

If I was in your shoes I'd want them to be beaten rather than have an excuse because of the weather.

We are doing a second round of the three strikes game. So post your predictions for today's game in that thread before the toss..

Can I still participate or will it be pulling a fast one?

Agreed. Even if you won the trophy there'd always be a voice at the back of your mind tainting it.

BBC says rain from 1700-2100. Another DLS result on the cards.

England are already through to the semis though, so I don't think there will be any taint whatsoever in their minds if the game rains out.

Not quite sure what you're saying, but I think you misunderstood me because it doesn't make any sense in the context

edit: I'll clarify, the "taint" would be a result of winning the trophy, yet knowing there's a team that could have been better and more deserving yet didn't get a chance due to weather

also if it wasn't already obvious I clearly wasn't being entirely serious

According to forecast there's only a couple of hours of potential rain. Should get a game in.

Yeah but if that other team is Australia, then there are no possible circumstances at all.......ever, where they would be more deserving. Just can't happen mate.
