That was pretty easy for England. NZ seem to have decided that slow bowling is the order of the day, but are only playing one spinner.

Sanga giving a good 'The Way of the Sanga' talk on commentary.

Is possibly levitating slightly while talking.

Small boundaries making it hard for spinners here. Rash has a massive job to do.

"This is a clash of strategy. And of methods, culture and politics. This is a new-era rivalry. Not as ancient as the Ashes, or as passionate as India-Pakistan. Two countries that are so different, yet share rampant egotism, high self-opinion and a belief that being born in their country is superior to other births. This brings together a belligerent bunch of brats, bullies and braggers."- Jarrod Kimber

Roots soaked up a lot more dot balls than normal here. Think he actually needs to rotate the strike better oddly enough, Hales gets jittery if he is away from strike for a while and might do something daft.

He's striking quicker than usual. Hales shouldn't be too bothered about what Root is doing, he knows what his role is.

Important breakthrough. Was just drifting away from NZ. Morgan is one player you can dot up early on if you don't give him room.

Actually seems like a bit of a plan from England. They obviously don't want him to get away with the whole Express Gavin Larsen thing he's been pulling off recently.
