At least Punter's was in line with his body, Clarke followed a short ball, that held its line a little, so far away from his body.

Yeah that's so true. Tbh I think England could bowl rank full tosses and we would still find a way to get out. The team's confidence is just so low, that they are literally self-destructive at the moment.

Yeah it's not like you can say the ball's been ducking around a lot. Three really poor shots so far. Wonder if the local boy will show the others how to play here?

He could have batted better than the blokes at 2, 3 and 4 though.

England actually had to bowl well at Adelaide. Here, it's like a charity shop.

Futile discussing this, Smith will beat everyone come his turn.

Its good to know Pontings in form, good insight from Chappell, 80 runs at 20 in 5 innings with a highest score of 50 not out, I really hope he doesn't lose his form anytime soon.

Why doesn't anybody take a leaf out of Watson book and just see of the ****ing new ball instead of playing stupid bull****.
    With much love & smiles.

Can't agree with that. I don't think you ever 'expect' wickets on the first morning of a test match.

Maybe in the 1960s on a soggy pitch.

2 minimum if you choose to bowl, 3 is good, 4 you're golden.

Just turned it on to see Ponting and Clarke play 2 of the most horrible shots you'll ever see from top order players

Really unbelievable to see how badly those guys are playing

Anyway, looks a good wicket to bowl on so and can see Eng rolling over the Aussies easily and then piling on the runs as it flattens out

    Same ole, same ole
