    Indeed.

In all fairness to Sammy though, he did win the toss.

missing the point. Gayle plays plenty of those shots in ODIs. You have to bowl differently to him compared to Smith. He gave him no room knowing Gayle would do what he did. Result is a wicket.

Not every smart piece of bowling involves a jaffer. It often is just reading the batsman well.

Coincides with a big domestic season for Daren Ganga... Jokes.
Sreesanth said, "Next ball he was beaten and I said, 'is this the King Charles Lara? Who is this impostor, moving around nervously? I should have kept my mouth shut for the next ball - mind you, it was a length ball - Lara just pulled it over the church beyond the boundary! He is a true legend."

Except he did bowl the same way to Smith...

I'm thinking he was bowling straight to keep things tight and give himself a chance. Not to try to get Gayle to pick out midoff.

I sent Pasag a text at the fall of the first wicket saying "Looking forward to Sarwan scoring 30 off 65"

He may be even slower tbh!

Windies need a further 142 from the next 26.1 overs to have something to bowl at. Still possible, especially with Pollard, Thomas and Sammy to come.

Must have a short leg for Pollard, surely.

Pollard wearing the floppy hat is awesome. But why not the maroon floppy?

Shiv is so random. A laborious 14 from 55...and then he tonks a massive six for no apparent reason.
