For all the indian fans: We're not going out that easily!!!!!

Guys, im really fired up (for no apparant reason! ) I really believe that india can still make the super eights! We have to smack bermuda....there's no doubt abt it...but instead of being so depressed and showing so much concern, ive created this thread so all us indian fans can come together and liven up! Who knows...maybe our optimism will reach th indian players.

p.s. For all those who dont really support india....do u think that there is any point of being optimistic or is our fate going to be the same as our local rivals pakistan?

I would've made this thread if I didn't promise to shutup and not show anymore enthusiasm and optimism until India start performing, which will hopefully be tomorrow.

But anyways, I can't contain myself anymore. Heck yeh we're still in it boys. How many times have these Indians underperformed and recieved so much criticism back home, and then went on to perform like true champions. The answer is a lot, so heck yeh we're still in it.

This team is extremely talented, and no doubt tigers on paper, it's just about performing to their full potential. Which no doubt they will do now that they are under pressure by more than 1 billion people on the face of this earth. This team will come out firing, I have faith in them.

Let's show these Lankans and Bermudans what we're made of.

Hooooo Haaaa India, Aaaaya Indiaaa!

P.S. Good way to reach 2 700 posts, hehe.

Never?

India get thrashed badly in pretty much every overseas tour, then have a series at home and manage to win it - and everyone, somehow, is convinced that they've "come good". That's not "performing like true champions" - the last time that actually happened was in 1983, when gutsy players like Kapil Dev were around.

we started slowly in the last world cup as well......lost to the aussies and then recieved a lot of critisism back home. Then we went on to win the nxt 8 matches and reach the final. This will happen again....and this time we'll win the thing altogether!

TBH I think it's a huge disadvantage when only playing 4 specialist bowlers and especially when two of them Agarkar and Harbhajan are struggling for wickets and control.Pathan may have to come in for the Sri Lanka game IMO to add balance.

As I said in another thread though, Pathan of late isn't any more reliable than the Indian part-time bowlers.

Considering they batted first and only scored 191, 30 of which coming from batsmen #10 and #11, I think the batting was a bigger problem than the 5th bowler. Weakening it by selecting a bowling allrounder and dropping a batsman wouldn't make much sense IMO.

So you think a mixture of Yuvraj,Sehwag and Tendulkar is good enough for a 5th bowling option?
