I have two one size 5 and one Full size. The size 5 bat is a Gunn and Moore purist 808 that i use to use i used it so much the bat face is red because of all the cherries, lost a few tennis balls in the back yard with that. The full size bat is a Kookaburra ice it may feel like you are picking up a house put trust me when you hit it, it stays hit.

I use a Yellow GM (Gunn and Moore) Maxi size 6 with a standard white wicket and proper red cricket softball that came with it.

Six six Gunn & Moore Polympic, circa late 70s, no grip, rubber inserts in handle missing. Slight woodworm on face. Wouldn't swap it for anything.

My bat is a KG Super Stroke from the 70's...

My friend has a MRF with the name Schine Tendulkar on it.

And another has a "Sixer". Very wide.

My brothers and I have a plethora to choose from. We line them up on the verandah next to the pitch. The favourites are:

A Gray Nicholls Kashmir Powerspot, stripped with MRF written on it. (size 5)
An old Duncan Fearnley, now clean skin (size 5)
Kookaburra Diablo which was the highest price junior kooko a few years ago (size 5)
Slazenger Mark Waugh V100 Panther (size 6)

But we we almost always use an eye in bat now because we cn take so long to get out.

very old youths slazenger v600, seen about 10 years action with about an average of an hours batting a week- not mch left of the toe of it. can't comlain got my pb of 336* wih it.

A newer fearnley count specialist bat is more for use now not bad but it's one of those solid bats that you'd never use with a hard ball

Mine's a Grey Nic Single Scoop with player's signatures on it from a Toohey's Cup match at Kingscliff played in about 1987. Mark Taylor and Dougie Walters are on there, maybe Steve Small too. There's about 6 or 7 famous players.
