B for ODIsWould you rather have:
A) bowler with a strike rate of 36 and economy of 5.00 (average 30)
or
B) bowler with a strike rate of 90 and economy of 2.00 (average 30)

Surely the point is to pick one instead of giving cop out answers like "sometimes a and sometimes b"x 2

No helmet. If I'm unconscious it doesn't hurt.Face up to a fired up Brett Lee without either a

I pick A ftr.
10 overs 20 runs is fantastic, but only 2 wickets in 3 games is a bit dire. Don't think it's WC winning.Okay then, B. That's h4x, WC winning stuff in 2 out of 3 formats and not terrible in tests, he'd tie up an end
It's only winning when combined with a varied attack. Think the point is that it's impossible to find a bowler like that in ODIs so it gives a Bradman-esque advantage. Bowler A is basically Steyn who sprays it around a bit.10 overs 20 runs is fantastic, but only 2 wickets in 3 games is a bit dire. Don't think it's WC winning.
Option B.Would you rather watch -
A) An ODI between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe at the MCG
or
B) The 1st day of a Test between South Africa and England at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka

yeah but are we ignoring the fact that the figures for each hypothetical bowler would be different depending on the format they were playing? Like in ODIs each bowler would likely have a higher economy and lower SRB for ODIs
A for Tests
