C_C you just cant accept that Bradman is the greatest legend in cricket.

You make me laff :D :D
You make ME laugh with your delusions...as if quoting the old middleclass gents from Mumbai is proof positive of entire India.
8-) 8-)
What matters is the cumulative figure....in which, Bradman doesnt stand a snowball's chance in hell to Tendulkar. Bradman was the best batsman ever ( debatable if he was the best cricketer ever) but he is nowhere as legendary as Tendulakar is.

Is the question asking:

Of all cricketers, whose Legend is the greatest?

OR

Of all the Legends of cricket, who was the greatest?
If the question asked is the former one, then its Tendulkar.
If the question asked is the latter one, then its Sobers ( i dont see as how Bradman can qualify as the greatest cricketer ever, given that this is almost automatically between the exponents of the allrounders category, given that they posessed significantly higher mastery on all the combined skillsets that are a part of cricket.......a specialist batsman/bowler cannot compete with an allrounder in this regard).

So Flintoff is a better cricketer than Tendulkar.

Yes.
He is a far inferior batsman, but a far superior bowler and a better fielder/catcher.

Kallis is, Steve Waugh isnt. I consider Steve Waugh to be an inferior batsman, marginally superior bowler and both their fieldings is whatever......but Tendy is better batsman than Steve than Steve is better than him as a bowler.

Steve was a superior fielder and also a brilliant captain whereas Tendulkar was a woeful captain so I consider Waugh to be superior to tendulkar wouldent you agree.

I think it's asking the former, hence Tendulkar having the greatest legend IMO. Of course, if asking who was/is the greatest of the legends of cricket, it's Bradman closely followed by Sobers.

If captaincy is included, yes, he is superior in TESTS....but he is NOT superior fielder than Tendulkar.....both are/were average fielders.
He still doesnt touch Tendulkar in ODIs......where Tendulkar's bowling and fielding is comparable to Steve's but his batting is a world superior to Waugh's- something not even his substantial captaincy skills can make up.

Eh? Which Steve Waugh did you watch mate? He was a close catcher of the highest order, and took some absolute screamers in the gully.

I watched Steve Waugh through the 90s and of the last year or two......missed 2000-2002 period or so.
He was a decent catcher.....steady hand.....he didnt pull off many screamers but didnt bollox up either.......that is precisely the category in which fielders like Lara, Tendulkar, Steve Waugh etc. fall.....steady catchers......His outfielding/fielding in the ODIs wasnt anything to shoult about.....but it was adequate.
Overall, i rate Tugga as a decent fielder.

You forgot the run outs that Waugh used to pull off fielding in close, some were spectacular, Tendulkar may have been adequate but Waugh was exceptional PERIOD.

Mate, if you play long enough, you pull off direct hits a few times.......so has tendy.
Waugh was NOT an exceptional fielder or a catcher. That is an insult to players like Jonty Rhodes, Kaif, Mark Waugh, Mark Taylor, Bevan, Viv, Logie, etc.

WHAT racism have i shown here ?
For your information, i've lived in 14 different cities in my life and visited over 50 different nations. I would think i know a wee bit more about what the world is like than someone with 2-3 countries in their resume.

I cant speak for all India, but i sure as hell can say that there are many many Indians who know Tendulkar but dont know Braddles - I've met many personally.
And hatred for all things Aussie ? You ever consider the possibility- the MERE possibility- that you and Scallywag and all have overly bloated opinions of Australia and i am a centrist ?
Where did you find a single racist comment i've made ?
I've justified every single assertion i've made- every single one of them- with Logic and reasoning. Which is something more than you've done.
You've shown mollification at my comments simply because it goes against the convention- that is the SOLE thing, for no one really has successfully argued against my logical train of thought.
So if anything, *I* have more reason to call *YOU* racist, not the other way round.
Remember that, kiddo.

WOW C_C you are a legend, probably bigger than tendulkar himself. You know everything about everything and should not waste your time here. Do you have many followers that shower you with flower petals every day.

That's really uncalled for. As much as I disagree with C_C's style of posting and some of his views, i dont think he deserves that kind of crap from you.
