I wonder what the best series ever by a visiting bowler in each country is? Maybe 85 Hadlee for Australia, 05 Warne for England, 98 (?) Saqlain for India.

Can argue 89 Alderman is better than Warne 2005.

In India, definitely Marshall 83.

In WI, I would say McGrath 99.

In SA, Johnson probably 2014.

In SL, Warne 2004 maybe?

Hard to say in Pakistan.

In England, it's between the two you mentioned.

In Australia, Hadlee 85.

In WI, McGrath 99 probably Yeah.

in SA, I'd take Barnes's 49 wicket series

In SL, Warne 2004 Yeah, it's just Warne vs Murali the series.

in Pakistan, can't really say.

In NZ, probably Wasim 1993?

He was overshadowed by a genius from Trinidad.

Brian Lara scored 546 runs in 7 innings including 3 centuries including his famous 153* and helped draw the series against the mighty Australians with almost zero support (The second highest run getter for WestIndies that series scored less than 200 runs).

It was because of McGrath that Lara deserves so many plaudits for that series.

McGrath was a total machine that series, probably peak pace, getting a lot of movement off the pitch.

Never forget that underrated 213. It was ATG as well.
