Swann ruins the bottom bunch I think, in the sense that it might be harder to bowl him and Donald together in certain conditions with him being a spinner.

The top 4 could bowl unchanged between each other for every over.

If I pick the first category, I feel a bit short in batting. I get Stokes at 5, Jadeja 6, Cairns 7, Pollock 8.

If I pick second category, I feel more assured. I get Dravid at 3, Shiv at 5, Swann at 8 and Donald at 11.

I would have picked first category if I got a better batter than Stokes. Maybe Kallis or S Waugh . I will pick second category.

Playing with club level cricketers (and presumably against teams that include club level players) both quartets would fill higher batting positions than they did in Tests. As a Club cricketer who has had the occasional game both with and against former FC and Test players, I can vouch for that observation,
