Is what I would go for. I think it might be an idea to buy a respectable or proficent bat with stamina, and eventually someone to replace Kiely.

Chanderpaul will develop very well with Mohammed, and those 2 should (when they're fully rounded) open the batting, and be the two big bats you want. Padayachie will be good, should be a very nice keeper, and can come in at 8 or 9.

Malik's your gun bowler, and don't underestimate Woodward.

Cheers. Having a massive clearout at the moment, so I hope to collect enough money out of all the trash that I'm throwing out to buy one or two players. Really don't have room to train anyone else until atleast the season after next, so I'll have to look at complete players.

I normally don't bat Woodward that high because of his low stamina, he's usually knackered after bowling ten overs. Bhutia's always set on attacking so he can hit out and get out when he needs to.

Kiely's one just waiting to be dumped, even if i get a respectable with high enough secondaries, he's on his way.

Also, I want to get myself an all-rounder...I never had one in my last side and my attempts to train players into being one failed. Would it be worth it to spend a bit of cash on a mediocre bat/bowl 17 year old and give him a net of each?

if your looking at that so called "All- Rounder" the first player Pine is basically it Mchmahon is a nice and handy buy but im sure yo ucould find a lot better players that what you have just bought.

look for players similar to the one above any player who is competent also would suit just fine and allow one level leniency on Stamina so Feeble would Probably just be acceptable.

These players can be easily found on the market for 20-30k at the most so invest in better playyers now and youll get results later

You can probably get med/med all-rounders for practically nothing so there are probably better ones going reasonably cheap somewhere. When the next wave of YPs come out on Saturday note the ones you like (as in high wages and decent secondaries). If you don't know what are high wages for various stats just post guys on here you're interested in.

Not the best starting lineup, unfortunately - they're old, and they're not very good! However, you've got enough bowlers, which is definitely a start, and a decent WK (or two!). No all-rounders, unfortunately.

The rest are useless. Try and sell them for pennies, I reckon, or just fire them if that doesn't work. You might get some cash for Kgotso, too.

Siyabonga and Sandhu would definitely benefit from some stamina training. So would Fordham, Goddard, Tiisetso and Campbell, but they're older - I don't know how much longer it takes to train up older players' fitness.

Tiisetso, Siyabonga and Goddard could all use some extra conc/cons, so maybe fielding nets for them.

Siyabonga, Sandhu, Beck and Brayley are the only players I'd even think about training in primaries...and to be honest, I wouldn't bother with the last two. Siyabonga may end up your gun batsmen for quite some time.

Your best bet would be to scour the transfer market for 17/18yo triple-mediocres (or better) - from what I've seen, they're dirt cheap. Slap some nets on them, and you'll have some decent players in a season's time.

BTW, I've finally found my "starting squad" spreadsheet. They weren't all that good, but they were young. After a bit of training, five of the players are still in my first XI - including my two strike bowlers (Brooker and Hirst) and gun batsman (Reed, who's in the CW 1st XI)!
