Cricketer Of The Year
at 7.40pm my lovely wife had our little edition into the world. 940 grams Kyra Ann Malone, 13 weeks early. she is very ill but we are all praying for her.
ok guys, what a night we have had....where to start. we had pains, they induced at 7.40pm cass put the bed pan under her to go to the toilet, however as i was watching and helping as she had an epidural, a baby decided to come out, poor little kyra 960 grms, not breathing heart not going to well, and no doctors in the room just a midwife.. rob panics and crys hits the button for emergency. they take here away and tell us she is very ill due to the infection cass has. waited almost an hour to get told that she is stable (phew) main line threw the belly button, on the breathing maching, having vitamin k, antibiotics for virus and infection, they gave her adrnalin to get her heart started and pumping. ok baby sort of doing well, so then cass with the epidural had not gone to the toilet for ages, passes out with major head aches, starts vomitting and went pail white. call midwifes and doctors all come rushing in, things not good, they get the canyalin out and into cass with antibiotics and the drips with antibiotics, she drops 800ml of urine and feels a heap better. she comes around after about an hour, we went and seen little kyra, and she is so adorable, blonde hair blue eyes and looking really well however we know it is only the beginning of such a long hard road. just thought i would let all you guys know as you have supported us so well.............
and then we get home young bloke still not well, i get told he was feed pasta and he brings it all up..eeerrrrrrgggghhhhh
Tell me it only gets better after this please.........well tired and going to try and sleep however i think my adrenalin is still pumping so it could be an awfully long nite.......
