Just because they didn't bowl as much, didn't mean they couldn't.

McGrath was capable of long sustained spells as well, so was Warne
That doesn't guarantee that they will be equally effective as well. McGrath and Warne could bowl long spells, but Murali and Hadlee are way better doing it.

Murali and Hadlee. They will bowl many more overs than Warne and McGrath. The side simple can play another goodish support bowler and a batsman who can bowl to bolster the batting. Any team playing Warne and McGrath will need four full time bowlers because they bowl lesser.
This is also my reason for picking Murali and Hadlee. You could at a push get up to 70 overs from them a day. I'd say Warne and McGrath would give you 60.

We saw in the 2005 ashes what happens when McWarne didn'thave much in the way of bowling support, but McWarne with good bowling support would be the pick. Hadalitharan the pick when bowling support is average

Pretty simple. Both pairs cancel each other out in primary skills, but Hadlee is the best with the bat and in the field while McGrath is the worst with the bat and in the field (the spinners 2nd and 3rd for both).
McGrath was an exceptional outfielder

Murali/Hadlee is the backbone of many draft teams I try and create, for this reason. At very least I want one of the two. Makes it much easier for me to select more allrounders.

Depends on the other bowlers
