Don't think anyone here rates Hammond over Hutton as a batsman.tbf he deserves it for being rated above Hutton in batting by many
I saw two of them and one of them is in my Top 5 knocks.Top 100 performance from Brian Lara (DoG):-
153* vs Australia in Bridgetown (1999)
213 vs Australia in Kingston (1999)
182 vs Australia in Adelaide (2000)
there are a fewDon't think anyone here rates Hammond over Hutton as a batsman.
Which one?I saw two of them and one of them is in my Top 5 knocks.
Shared this because I liked the way the unnamed cricketer was quoted.Pretty sure everyone knew Hammond was a fan of the ladies and picked up some souvenirs along the way.
I have him a few places above Punter.where do people have Hammond's batting? surely above Ponting?
Hammond was a rich Western European in 1930s, it's almost expected I feel like.Pretty sure everyone knew Hammond was a fan of the ladies and picked up some souvenirs along the way.
Wasn't he handsome too?Hammond was a rich Western European in 1930s, it's almost expected I feel like.
My only push back to that would be that Lara too was a special slip catcher, not in Hammond's league, but close enough.Would pick Lara if just judging batting, but Hammond with all skills considered.
Yeah. had a huge nose tho.Wasn't he handsome too?
Isn't big nose good?Yeah. had a huge nose tho.
