Imran in place of Holding and batting ahead of Hadlee. Sobers is enough as a spinner, have a 4-man pace attack.

Ponting ahead of Dravid.

And the first team wins.

First team should have Miandad in place of Graeme Pollock and switch him around with Viv.

Imran has to be in the 1965-1990 team, it's non-negotiable.
Rate Chandra as the best spinner in the 1965-1990 period.
Boycott over Gordon imo.
Ponting and Sanga both better than Dravid imo.
Don't actually mind Kirsten being there tbh. Despite my preference for Anwar, I don't think any alternative opener is unquestionably better.

I'm disappointed in you for dropping Miandad.

Gomez
Richards

I tend towards the previous 80 team a bit since Gomes is a bit of a weak link and Richards was at his peak.

Ah ok then makes sense. I would love to see Ponting as opener.
Why? Not good enough at leaving the swinging ball - liked to feel bat on ball (which is why Bond owned him in ODIs). Marshall and Hadlee would destroy him if opening. Keep Ponting at 3 where he was gun.
