Given that most folks here are Aussies, the poll was as predictable as an average election in Zimbabwe.

I don't think there is a top ODI team right now deserving the spot. It's probably pretty much between Aus, SA an India. I voted for SA...just had to follow my heart.

Symonds...maybe, Clarke? Australia imho is better in the long run without him in the ODI side.

The Clarke hate is so wrong it's funny. Would walk into any ODI side in the world.

Agree, however SL are still relying on Grand old warhorse Jayasurya to get them a sizeable score.

Sri Lanka have potentially the best bowling attack around, yet their batting is pathetic.

On the topic of Clarke, he is our best ODI batsman.

Much more reliable than Ponting of late (who is erratic) and Symonds (will he get back into the team?) and Hussey (who is a fine player but struggling as of late).

Best full strength team? I reluctantly say Australia as I know I'm bias for us. India and Saffers both up there with NZ and pakistan being the 4th and 5th imo.

Clarke's actually been dire in ODI cricket lately, though so has Ponting while Symonds has struggled a bit too. Hussey on the other hand has easily been the best one day middle order bat for Aussie.

In Tests though you are spot on.
