Lara and Bravo gone, but not to really necessary shots, especially Lara. Bravo too should have trusted the bounce and left the ball.

Vaughan going for the kill, Gough is back
Granted Vaughan was off the field, but this statement is still amusing in an extremely irritating way if you're an England fan. 5 overs for 0-36 absolutely pathetic.

He did. He just didn't have it there for 2 balls when Giles was there.
To be fair, it only became an issue when Bradshaw returned (there was never going to be a slip at that stage to Bravo or Hinds).

First of all, Tresco was put down by the diving keeper and then Giles edged through to where first slip would have stood. Lara moved a fielder out of the covers, moved backward point squarer then Giles cracked the next ball right past where point HAD been.

Other than that, Lara's captaincy has been exemplary.

Hmmph! Jacobs would've caught it with his eyes closed and one hand tied to his big toe.
Well, yes, if he hadn't set off in the direction of square leg first as well.

Jacobs could have set off facing backward and still caught it. He's a 'keeper of the quality of Jones he is.

Collingwood gets Powell and Chanderpaul... boy these Durham players are good...

famous last words perhaps... 2 guys who average around 10 scoring 20+ each.

What a partnership! West Indies knock back the light and then hit two boundaries. GREAT STUFF!

Was there really any point in getting Collingwood to bowl so many overs? He can't sustain an average spell, let alone a good one, and bowls a lot of boundary-balls later in the innings. The English have already lost 2 ODI matches because of his extended spells.

He bowled well though - I'd have done the same thing if I were Vaughan. What I wouldn't hsve done is bowl Freddy and Marmo out.
