Test Country/Average Combo Draft

JOJOXI

International Vice-Captain
Following on from the ODI Country/Average Combo draft recently ran by Teuton this will be a similar Test version of that draft.

Rules

* You have to pick 1 player for each batting/bowling average category

* You will have to pick players from at least 10 cricketing nations (West Indies counts as 1 nation)

* Wicketkeepers selected have to have kept in at least half of their Test matches. Here is a list of everyone that has kept - the list has their numbers of matches as keeper and matches as fielder. As long as their matches as keeper is the same or higher as their matches as fielder they are eligible to be selected as a keeper. Those not eligible to be selected as keepers can still be selected as specialist bats.

The batting/bowling averages you have to pick a player for

* 6 batting categories - 51+ Bat, 47-50,99 Bat, 43-46.99 Bat, 39-42.99 Bat, 35-38.99 Bat, 30-34.99 Bat

* 4 bowling categories - 0-22.99 Bowl, 23-26.99 Bowl, 27-30.99 Bowl, 31+ Bowl

* 1 'other' category (this other pick can be anyone and have any average/s as long as they allow you to continue to adhere to nationality restrictions. A 5th bowler, 7th batter, specialist wicketkeeper, all-rounder. You will need to let me know who you are picking for the 'other' category at the point when such a pick would otherwise be ineligible.)

You are allowed to change a player category from one of the batting/bowling categories to the other category or vice-versa as long as your final team fits the criteria.

The 6 players picked on their batting average would have to bat in the top 7 and the 4 bowlers picked on their bowling average will have to bat at 7-11. As long as these criteria are met the 1 other pick can bat anywhere in the order.

Let me know if you have any further questions not addressed in the opening post

EDIT

No Bradman

Just like in the ODI version of this draft - you can pick a player for their batting average and layer choose to select them for their bowling average instead as long as that bowling average category isn't already filled (and vice-versa) And of course if picked on their bowling average they would now have to bat between 7-11 rather than 1-7.

8 hour timeouts although 'timeout clock' will only start 12 hours after start of draft

Can the "other" category pick be done at any stage? For instance, not just in round 11.
It can be at any stage, and the 'other' pick can be changed as long as all categories can still be met.

I should actually add that just like in the ODI version you can pick a player for their batting average and layer choose to select them for their bowling average instead as long as that bowling average category isn't already filled (and vice-versa) And of course if picked on their bowling average they would now have to bat between 7-11 rather than 1-7.

Can a specialist keeper take up a batting average spot or do they have to come under "other"?
Specialist keeper can take up any slot. In theory they could even take up a bowling average spot if they have taken a wicket and you are happy to put them at 7-11.
