Good point, noteworthy that a couple of them are still active, Steyn semi-active and a few others probably more famed for their ODI exploits then Test exploits so perhaps 100 caps not such a big deal in Test Cricket if you can reach other milestones in stronger suit of ODI cricket

I know with Gilly he made the decision to retire on a whim coz he suddenly felt he'd lost his touch after dropping a catch in a series(think against India)

Would have definitely got to hit 100 tests otherwise
