Yeah, do not think I rate Kapil and Anderson in the same tier as bowlers, while Botham and Kapil are pretty equalish for me.
Guess what? I rate Kapil a bit higher than Botham.

Botham, Warne and Lillee are guys I used to downplay in my earlier days due to anti-Anglo bias but have rediscovered my respect for recently.

To be frank, it was a reaction to my perception of them being overrated by Anglo press. Which they were, but it took time to see beyond that.

Lillee is better than Ambrose. The fact that you don't even entertain this idea suggests you haven't thought about it critically enough and are getting swayed by CW consensus.

I would have given you points had I rated Lillee the same as does majority on CW. I don't. I rate him 14th among pacers. Lindwall better.

Lindwall I think is equal to Donald and Donald is rated higher than Lillee here even if I personally disagree.

That's the series I use as the cut off point for Beefy, he had run his course and that rib injury reduced him from a medium-fast bowler (130ish) to Military medium. Played one series in 1987, and just came back for a couple tests with years of gap between them for purely monetary purposes.
