Mooo CC is putting a good lickin on Galle Warriors here.

We batted first and posted 181/7 with Ruwan Flamer-Caldera dazzling his way to 47 (28)...some lower-order hitting from the keeper, Hayden (40* off 21) to us to moderate safety after cheap scores from the middle-order.

Then Hugh Islay struck in the powerplay limiting them to 20/2 in the first 4 overs....and Captain Gul saw an opening, brought on himself...he was expensive but he picked up key wickets along the way.

We currently have them 95/8 with 4 overs to go...

Nifty little upset win against FHK. Tiffany Yuen recording the impressive figures of 4/24 including a hat trick… off two overs mind

Another big stand from the ‘Nauts openers (sorry @ataraxia) was eventually broken by Yuen who saw the rest of the over disappear for 18. Much better success in the 20th as she claimed her hat trick and conceded just six.

Nathan Law did his best in the chase and FHK needed 50 from the last five. However, Hlengwa nicked off Law with the first ball of the 16th and we just about held our nerve from there.

Really entertaining game that. We're trying a new combination out for T20s and it almost worked. Your opening partnership basically won the game, not often Lam and Hui get taken apart like that.

Been a while since I split the ZCC and FHK squads into two XIs - so 10th July we'll be looking to play simultaneous games with two of the newest CWC teams

05:00 - ZCC vs TNT and Pirates

11:00 - FHK vs TNT and Pirates

Challenges sent @StephenZA and @Marcuss !

After the first 3 matches of the TMOs in the great 'study'! 1 win-2 losses.
Win at home on easy batting pitch, FHK almost chasing down a total of 292 but late innings wickets by Ncanana and Passmore turning the game in TMOs favour, bowling out opposition for 264 in the 46th over. TMOs out rating FHK by just over 2000.
The two losses where very similar against ZCC and Dynamo Morpork , with the TMOs batting order unable to put up a decent total in either innings ending on 163 and 162 in the 45th over, respectively. Chased down in the 40th and 43rd overs. ZCC out rated TMOs by just around 500, TMOs out rating Morpork by 1000.

Earlier indications clearly show that early innings wickets are currently a big problem in all games. Davidson has come good in 3 innings now.

Updated after 6 matches. 2 wins and 1 loss. Giving a 3-3 win loss ratio.
All 3 games where away. First game against GG CC, again on a toughish pitch batting first unable to score sufficient runs and GGcc chasing down the 200 run target in the 46th over. TMOs out rating GG cc by just less than 7000.

The two wins came against Moooo and Winton CC, TMO out rating both teams by 9500 and 10 000, respectively. Both innings the TMOs put up an impressive score of 290 and 350, respectively, on slower pitches with little wear. Against Moooo Davidson scored a good 50+ with, Kock and Ncanana closing out the innings with some aggressive batting. Against Winton it was mostly the Davidson show scoring 155 in 100 balls. With a fine knock from Mthombeni and Thundayal in support. Burger taking 4 against Winton to bring his bowling back in to a respectable range. But still not consistently performing when needed for a bowler of such high quality.

3 more games to go, 1 Saturday away against the Astronauts @Marcuss and 2 Sunday home and away against @ataraxia .

A more detailed analysis is planned following that, that includes tracked BQ both for the TMOs and opposition, a look at experience and stamina, and overall team ratings.
