Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
Granted I haven't had the opportunity to see either batsman play, but the last time Parthiv Patel was tried at Test level he proved that he wasn't up to it. Besides, Badrinath has been consistently putting runs on the board for every team he plays in, so it would make more sense if he got a chance over Parthiv, who also happens to be a wicket-keeper. Three wicket-keepers in a side is definately not an option for me.I am going by how he is playing and not the averages. I have no idea what their first class averages are. In India first class averages stopped mattering ages ago.
Have you heard of a player called Ajay Sharma. He played a bit for India as a spinner who could bat. He averages above 60 in his longfirst class career. Far above most of crickets greats over the last 200 years !!
Yes I have heard of him.
