I'm thinking it's more trying to prevent stupidity than commitment.lol how do you ban someone for showing commitment?
You can’t ban it, but surely captains should bear this in mind when setting their fields, ideally place your bowlers where they’re not going to be chasing balls down to the boundary (Overton is exempt for obvious reasons)Overton dd it first yesterday for one he was never going to stop, then Woakes may have seemingly ended his England career in the saddest of fashions, all for the sake of trying to stop one run. Is it really worth it?

do you hate watching cricketIt's one thing being a decent fielder and another throwing yourself over the boundary rope trying to stop 1 run. How often do we see players holding their shoulders after doing it? Maybe they should put the boundaries back against the boards like the old days, they'd soon stop diving then.
Should batsmen and spinners be banned too? I don’t want them to get injured eitherOverton dd it first yesterday for one he was never going to stop, then Woakes may have seemingly ended his England career in the saddest of fashions, all for the sake of trying to stop one run. Is it really worth it?
No, but I hate losing for daft reasons, and this Woakes injury might just cost England the series.do you hate watching cricket
