Tail is longer than I would want. Messed up that last last round, needed a bowling all rounder and thought Pollock was the safe option and ended up leaving Hadlee unpicked.

Sheep draft the best as always.

The skipper won't thank me for just giving him two pace bowlers, and for having to do any fifth bowler duties himself, and there is a bit of a tail, but not a bad lot

Just about as good a pair of players as I could have realistically hoped to pick to complete that side.

Lucky to have quality bats to 8 as numbers 9-11 won’t be adding much.

Two quality new ball bowlers of the highest quality and Miller was a successful Test bowler in his own right. He’d be largely relied upon for the spin duties. Plenty of options in the top 6 with Kallis (in particular), Worrell, Border and Compton all having some success with the balm throughout their careers.

Then there’s Tino Best.

You fail to mention that you have the only man to have played the game who might have been a better batsman than Bradman :)

More than happy to let that batting lineup speak for itself.

I can't recall Red Hill's entire lineup but I think it stacks up pretty well in comparison even allowing for him having the Don.

1-9 could be a bunch of stiffs for all I care - this team is going to get one of my votes for the opening salvo of Tyson and Ward

…… unless you're planning to give Peter Pollock the new ball of course

To be honest I don't think I know enough about the three bowlers to really judge who should get the new ball

Kind of a stupidly long tail/weak lower middle order, but not sure I can bring myself to leave one of those bowlers out for Kambli. I'd probably hate this selection if a test side did it today.

Not sure what's gone wrong here, but I was told I'd successfully picked Everton Weekes in Round 12.
I am prepared to accept Garry Sobers as a replacement.

Pretty handy XI, managed to draft Australia's three greatest number threes (with apologies to Clem Hill and Charlie Macartney). Very good bowling attack with the GOAT pace bowler, the leading wicket taker pace bowler, Bird, and the underrated offie Hugh Tayfield. Dependable opening bats and the obdurate Barrington at #6. Simpson, Barrington and Chappeli capable of sharing fifth bowling duties if required. Fielding is excellent with Simpson, Anderson and Chappell outstanding in the slips, Bradman good in the covers, and Ponting at point.

A few too many sheep for a contender but still a decent team with 5 very good or better bowlers and batting down to Warney at 10.

Thanks nufan for running it,

Noooo, why was he on my banned list.

Please pick a like for like replacement instead, sorry.
