In the comp with my mates, you had to predict winner, worst team except Qatar and top scorer, and then every score.

Going into yesterday there were two lads who could realistically win, plus another who could if Argentina won 6-1 with all goals scored by Martinez.

One of the two who could realistically win wound up finishing 14th, just 4 points ahead of me who had been bottom for 3 weeks but pulled myself out the relegation zone thanks to 15 points for tipping Argentina at the start.

Anyway well done nick-o for finishing 2nd. **** you RIS

Cheers nick-o, appreciate folks who run these type of things, thoroughly enjoyed watching the fantastical finale I imagined nearly come to life.

Yeah, I really enjoyed doing it. The time zones meant I couldn't follow half the matches as they were starting at 4 in the morning here, and I'd have lost interest in the whole thing if I hadn't been doing this.
