Posting from an Android Phone

Over the last few days posting from an Android phone has become almost intolerable. Any time I use the backspace key (which is a lot) or the enter key (which is also a lot) the whole keyboard disappears. This is the only site that seems to do this. Is this a forum software bug or something else?

Whatever it takes!!!
I am using an android phone right now and I am not facing any issue with backspace. Enter does seem to get the keyboard to disappear though.

Well that's weird. I use SwiftKey on an iPhone and haven't seen this problem.

You just knew Corrin used an Android.
Made the switch last summer. Little difference between that and iOS in reality and never understand the smug superiority both sets of users seem to have.

i've come to think many of them are just afraid development for one OS will stop and so try to shame others into their preferred OS

Just to add another voice, I've been getting the same problem with the enter key (backspace is fine for me). The keyboard disappears and I inevitably click on an ad link every time as I try and continue typing. Also on an android phone.

People at XenForo are saying that Google has released the fix, available in 85.0.4183.101.

Update your Chrome browser on your phone :)

Yeah things seem to be much better now, thanks.

Now my only issue is the bottom ad covering what I'm writing.
