Whatever it takes!!!

Honest Hunks

Sanath Jayasuriya (6)
Virender Sehwag (8)
Aravinda De Silva (7)
Javed Miandad
Eoin Morgan ©
Collis King (4)
Moin Khan (wk)
Wasim Akram (vc) (1)
Liam Plunkett (3)
Aaqib Javed (2)
Muttiah Muralitharan (5)

Very happy with the side I landed. Aggresive openers and an excellent middle order for rescue jobs or to pile on the agony for the opposition. Good hitters from 6-9 and an excellent bowling attack with perhaps one of the best specialist first change seam bowlers of all time. Best spinner of all time and the best left arm seamer of all time as well. Not many sides will run away with big scores against this attack, especially with all the options with the ball too. Can see them beating any side they are up against.

Also, MrPrez, you're the reason I didn't finesse my openers properly. If figured it perfectly that I'd end up with Marsh and Boon but you took an extra one. Grrr.

Would be fun with Warner trying to sandpaper the ball to get extra reverse for Imran and Co. and Saleem desperately blowing the whistle as he won't get the payments otherwise.

Wanna watch this team in action for real now. :D

Mark Waugh
Gautam Gambhir
Dean Jones
Ijaz Ahmed
MS Dhoni +
Yuvraj Singh [5]
Glenn Maxwell [6]
Andy Bichel [4]
Chaminda Vaas [2]
Zaheer Khan [3]
Andy Roberts [1]
Also a fine team. Dogged openers, Dean Jones at #3 an ATG. Ijaz can be explosive though inconsistent. Then the lower order specialists in Yuvi, Dhoni and Maxi can both be explosive and also stabilize post a collapse (especially the Indian duo for latter job). 4 pace bowlers more than a handful and will be hard to score off.

Yeah picking a third opener was a genuine mistake, was in a rush to make a pick and forgot I'd already taken two openers. Sorry mate.

Haha no worries. I've played enough 7 Wonders to be immune to feeling upset by people hate drafting against me. And tbf you grabbed your openers early, I probably just miscounted. Still, Geoff Marsh was a legitimate ODI gun. Not that far behind Greenidge and Haynes statistically.

Just a thought (I'm at work, bored and the mind wanders in the autumn years...), after the main draft vote it might be fun to have a head-to-head voting comp for the 8 teams too?

Random draw or seeded based on draft position for quarter finals, followed by semis and, ultimately, a final? It is a World Cup draft, after all.

Will be fun when a player bowls to himself in one of those draws
